Nathan's Birthday Party!

So I am WAY behind on this thing and really need to get updated. I have about 5 blogs that I can post...so I decided to start with this one!

For Nathaniel's 2nd birthday we were up in WA since we went to visit mom and dad Walker for Thanksgiving. Of course right a couple days after we get there, all the snow comes piling in. It was freezing and miserable! Especially since we had left Utah in t-shirts and 60 degree weather! So Nathan got lots of snow the night before his birthday. David and mom went to Wal-mart and got him some snow gear so he could go play in it outside. He seemed to enjoy it but it was pretty cold so he couldn't be out there too long.

We all decided to brave the snow(our family and mom and Corbin) and head to Chuck-E-Cheeses! Since the weather was so bad it was pretty dead and we got the whole place to ourselves mostly. Nathan and Corbin had a great time playing the games. They remodeled the place so it looks really nice and clean. Which is way better than it was when we were younger! Afterwards, we all went to Toys-R-Us to get Nathan his bday gift(Thomas train and tracks). Then we headed over to eat at Old Country Buffet.

Later that evening we had a simple bday party for him and the Scott's came over to celebrate with us as well! I don't know if Nathan really understood that it was his birthday but he had a fun day! He has grown up so much since 1yr. He talks SO much! His nursery leaders always tell me he talks there ear off. I know how they feel! He has such a fun personality and has an amazing memory! He will talk about something that has happened a month after it happened. I'm just surprised he can remember past things.

Some fun things and accomplishments for Nathan:

He knows all his ABC's and half of the sounds for them

He can sign about 100 words(When I sign a word he tells me good job!)

He loves to swim, run, go to the park, throw rocks in the water(all boy!)

He loves to wrestle with his dad (He has finally learned he can't wrestle with mom)

He LOVES to unload the dishwasher and help set the table.

He likes to help do any chores, especially mopping the floor

I asked him what his favorite way to help is and he said "TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE!!"

He loves puzzles and is really good at them. He is doing 25 piece puzzles right now

He asks to go to nursery every day!

He knows all his days of the week and likes to remind me what day it is

He loves his grandparents and his uncle Zach(He constantly asks about my brother who he never sees, its funny)
