Today was Nathaniel's first bath and he didn't quite like it at first but after he realized that he warmed up when we dried him off he didn't mind it as much. He's such a funny baby. Last night Sharie and I only had to get up about 3 times instead of 5 like the night before. I was actually happy when I only got stretches of sleep about 2 to 3 hours long. I never thought I would be happy about getting "so much" sleep at a time during the night, haha.
Tonight, however, he's been pretty fussy. He just has particularities (is that a word? Well it is now) that I'll have to learn because I can calm him sometimes, but other times it seems that only Sharie can calm him - like right now, which is how I'm blogging today's experiences. Man, this parenting stuff is pretty hard but well worth it. I can just see my parents, grandparents and other adults who've seen me grow up just laughing right now. Seriously, I swear Nathan is going to be just as much of an Eddie Hascal as I was, but I'll know how to be one step ahead of him.... I hope! Well I think he's falling asleep so hopefully I can get a couple of hours in, too.
